t’s funny that recycling goes back a long way, as far as 400 BC when Plato was around. They used to recycle broken pottery and household waste. So here we are on the island of Kos in the year 2013 and we have managed as a society to dump our wastes directly into our nature.
A lawsuit is brought against the local community concerning environmental issues in Kos
A lawsuit by Vangelis Trakosas against the Municipal Community of Asfendiou and in particular Michael Georgalis has been brought to court today.
Vangelis Trakosas represents the Ecological Union in Kos. In a statement Mr Trakosas accuses Mr Georgalis of violating an area that should be protected (The Salt Lake -Wetlands).
