A BIG thank you from Monica – Brits Christmas Bazaar Table
Just want to say a big thank you to all the girls that baked , donated hand crafted goods and helped on the stall yesterday at the Bazaar . Despite being told it was cancelled because of the terrible weather and will be held next SATURDAY, the man collecting the tables said we could stay if we took our tables back ourselves. Several others also stayed L I O N S … of course they would, such a brave hearted animal in all weathers.A R K – of course they had a house built by NOAH for just such weather and OF COURSE US.. the Brits.. we will take on anything!!!!!
We managed to sell almost all our baked goods, all of Sue’s hand made Christmas Cards, Eileens mini Christmas Cakes All the mulled Wine (will have more for next week!!) Kerri’s Pinatas (1 or 2 remain)Lots of other things. Julie was pulling in puntas for the Tombola faster than a pub could give out free beer. Music was provided by the out of tune ladies on the stall and a great time was had by all and we raised some money towards our choosen charity for this year. Thank you to all of you who also paid us a visit and bought something too!
NOW we need help for NEXT SATURDAY. We need Tombola prizes, bakes and hand crafted goods. We will be at the Catholic Church from 10.30 on Thursday so if you can donate a prize or even some wrapping paper or anything else please come along. If you didn’t manage to do anything for yesterday you still have a chance to help out.
FREE COFFEE ON THURSDAY AND A GLASS OF MULLED WINE – so come and join the fun!
