A serious accident in Kos….
A serious accident was reported today. It is said that it occurred shortly before 3 pm on the coastal road in Kos Town just outside the police station. Apparently a vehicle hit and dragged an 15 year old Israeli tourist along the ground and it is said that the tourist was later airlifted to Athens due to worries of brain damage.
The young person driving the motorcycle (that hit the tourist) was also taken to hospital for abrasions, external injuries and shock.
The mother of the injured tourist made a statement to the police concerning the accident.
Witnesses to the accident said that they suddenly saw a girl in the middle of the road with the mother at the side. There was no blood or evident external injuries and the driver of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet but had abrasions.
