Brrrrr it’s cold in Kos!

Many of us have delved into our drawers for hats, gloves and scarfs  over the last few days, as temperatures have dropped to almost freezing.  Today saw a beautiful blue sky (which was somewhat deceiving, and there were several comments from Kos on facebook this morning, and tweets as to the coldness that many have felt!)

Aegean news reports that – It is known that some thin flakes fell over the mountains during the night and even  several snow clouds appeared in our region.  Stamatis Gianniotis  climbed  up  and photographed the mountainside .

 According to the forecast for the next few days it will remain cold and  bitter but do not expect much snow to revisit Kos.

* Reports are coming in that the temperature will remain low until Thursday, and will very slowly start to go up from Thursday onwards.
