Dyslexia in Greece
Dyslexia is a combination of abilities and difficulties which affect the learning process in one or more of reading, spelling and writing.
For those of us foreign mums living here, our children are often juggling the two languages(sometimes more) from a very young age. Many times along their way they can experience difficulties, and they can stutter and stumble through at times. When they start at ‘school’ and show signs and indications of a struggle to keep up, or seem totally unenthusiastic, and have more red pen over their books then ‘Bravo’s', you might feel as if you need some expert advice.
If you have any queries about your child, or have doubts, worries or need any general information about the tests and help that is available in Greece for children with dyslexia, or tests that are performed to see if indeed your child has Dyslexia, then please contact the website below.
It has come to Kosexplorer’s attention that there will be a specialist in Kos from the Dyslexia Centers (Pavlidis Method), over the next few weeks, until the 18th July.
