Elias Hatzimihail from The Alice Springs Hotel in Kos is all set to run the London Marathon
Elias Hatzimihail from Kos is getting ready for the biggest challenge of his life….running The London Marathon!
Elias tells Kosexplorer that he has never run further than 100m before contemplating this challenge and he is a little bit nervous! The idea of entering the London Marathon was put to him by a guest staying at the Alice Springs Hotel last summer and he didn’t waste any time in getting registered. So Elias is hoping to complete the marathon…in the same day as starting it!
Elias Hatzimihail and The Alice Springs Hotel in Lambi throughout the years, and especially since 2008 have often raised money for The Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London and local charities in Kos through their quiz nights and bingo nights. These popular evenings take place throughout the summer months on the island of Kos and many of their guests have joined in.
Also Elias will be promoting the beautiful island of Kos because he will be having over 200 t-shirts printed with the logo of Kos Island on them. All of the guests will be wearing them on the day of the marathon in Kos and the one’s going to spectate in London where a party is also being organised at one of the guests pubs.
We look forward to seeing the photographs!
We along with many others wish Elias lots of luck on the 21st of April in London and will be looking out for him on our screens.
