Finally installed… A shelter in the port
Better late than never …
It took only 2 days to put a new roof up in the port next to the old structure which had to be removed as it was situated in the safety zone
The new canopy (the canopy is now in place) is 15 x 10 meters (150 square meters) and cost around 15 thousand euros + VAT (it would have only cost 175 to replace the awning on the previous shelter)

The Municipal Authority are trying to adhere to the pre-election commitments with the timely preparation of the island for the new season and end the winter suffering of our compatriots, they are progressing rapidly with the necessary measures to enhance the functionality and appearance of the island.
A typical example of this is the immediacy of replacing the roof on the passenger port of Kos in the coming days which will be ready to safely accommodate residents and visitors.
Furthermore, all these actions occur at the lowest possible cost without compromise on quality of service and safety of residents and visitors.
