Kos rocks once again …in Berlin
Kosvoice reports that:-
The Greek comeback is in the press and the tourism fair in Berlin opened its doors on Wednesday with more than 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries. Regarding Greece, the “early bookings” have double digits, while the large tour operators expressed their confidence in the Greek market.
At the booth of Kos now, the climate is very positive and of course the messages very well with the participation of many hoteliers and tour operators on the island. Indeed, in a statement by Mr Ilias Sifakis and former Chairman of Kos OPD says tour operators already on the Scandinavian market have planned extra flights to meet demand.
The entire statement of Mr. Sifaki from Berlin:
“After several years, the smiles returned to Greek tourism entrepreneurs! Improved significantly bookings compared to 2012 from all our key markets, and even markets lagging the Dutch report have improved dramatically! The climate in pavilion Kos was quite hopeful for a good season and delighted us is the fact that the Nordic market comeback in Kos after the tour operators already have planned extra flights to help them meet the demand! It gives us great pleasure because Kos previous years invested systematically in the Nordic market and now seems to collect the result! We hope this attempt at such an important market for our island will continue as it has frozen all activity in the last 2 years! “
