Lambi Beach Volunteer Clean-up – Invitation

A clean-up of Lambi Beach (starting at Faros) is proposed for Saturday 05 November at 11.00 am (weather permitting). Unfortunately, as many of you are aware from your walks, cycles or maybe when you are just admiring the infamous sunset along Lambi beach, the beach and walkway is strewn with rubbish.

‘Many hands make light work’ so let’s get together and lend Mother Nature a hand.You just have to bring along a pair of gloves. Your involvement in the beach clean-up will be lending Mother Nature a hand and the sea turtles ‘Caretta-Caretta’ which are often spotted at Lambi and Tigaki beaches.

Everybody is welcome so please come along and join in, if you would like to participate in the clean-up, please contact Veronica on 69408 75332 or via email verboland@yahoo.gr.It would be great to get an idea of the potential number of volunteers so as to organise the number of plastic bags required and to organise clean-up teams.
