PRESS RELEASE – GOODBYE TO CANCER – NEW CHEMOTHERAPY MACHINE…SOON!!!

• • GOODBYE TO CANCER

    Goodbye to cancer are pleased to announce that we are now an official charity here on Kos.

  • As promised the machine that Dr Mavroidis requested is on its way, a deposit has been placed.  We are hoping it will be here in approx 5 weeks. There will be a presentation at the beginning of September of the machine to the hospital.

  • We are in the process of organising this years Walk for Life.  This year it will be held in Kardamena, our first official and legal one!

  • After that we hope that each year we can rotate to other villages around the Island too.

  • T-shirts and vest tops will be available with entry as in the previous years, also sponsor forms too will be available (in advance) within the next few weeks.

  • We are just awaiting confirmation from a few other parties that will be helping us organise it this year.  As soon as more information is available we will inform you.

  • We will be planning other events throughout the year so watch this space.

  • Our website and Facebook page will be updated on a regular basis and there are also plans for a newsletter to keep you all updated.

  • If anyone has any questions or suggestions we are open to both.
