News snippets including a robbery at a mini-market in Kos
It was reported to police that during the early hours of yesterday morning a mini-market was broken into and all their stock of cigarettes were stolen along with 100 euros in lose change that was left in the till. Missing from the shelves were tins of meat and packets of dried toast bread.
Police are investigating.
Concerned parents at a Kindergarten school in Kardamena have been told there is nothing to worry about and no health risks to their children….(there is a huge electricity junction next to the school fence).
The Police Department report that two computers were stolen from a school in Kefalos and investigation is underway.
A 32 year foreigner has been arrested by The Crime & Prevention (B Section) Team of the Police force for the possession of cannabis.
Noted in the news is a court case concerning 3 Nationals accused of ‘pimping’. The men are aged 42, 47 & 58. A case has been brought against the establishment/men where the women were hired to work as dancers and they have stated in a report that they were forced into prostitution. The girls are of Romanian nationality aged 19 and 25.
