Ryan Air announces new flights to Rhodes and Kos.
The announcements are ‘flying’ in, one after another from low-cost airline Ryanair, that Ryan Air will have new flights to Rhodes and Kos. Without prior agreement or, indirect government subsidisation or, EVED! Despite the “threats” made by their representatives of termination, and the “commands” of Deputy Minister of Tourism, George Nikitiadis, to secure money to buy advertising space on its website.
Ryanair announced yesterday the launch of yet another flight to and from Rhodes. Ryanair, which connects Rhodes with 13 destinations, today its booking site opens with flights to and from Bournemouth, and in an effort to attract customers, they have introduced a special deal up to midnight January 19, 2012, one million seats for 9.99 euro each for February and March!. Only recently they announced flights from Kos to Pisa twice a week from July 2012, and for a certain period only, 57.99 euro each (including taxes).
The “Democratic” revealed that the Irish, who were claiming up to 4.5 million in funding for covert flights over the next three years, in the form of advertisements on the website of Ryanair, to launch flights to Rhodes and Kos, seeing that the “ bluff ” didn’t succeed, the City of Rhodes, Southern Aegean, the PROTOUR and Hoteliers Association of Rhodes, “opened ” the companies bookings in mid November.
The new flights for winter 2012 are negotiated without official agreements or financing by any of the parties that were previously involved in the deal, or that were undertaken by the Tourism Secretary, Mr.George Nikitiadis.
According to Ryanairs reservation system:
commencing March 25th 2012 flights from Milan, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf,
commencing March 26th flights from Liverpool, and Bologna,
commencing March 27th flights from London,
commencing March 31st flights from Kaunas, Stockholm and Pisa,
We remind you that Ryanair has sought double the amount of funding to provide half as many flights for the winter, as well as, with the condition that they are financed for the summer period, with the amount of 1.1 million euro per year!
For 4 flights per week in the winter (2 to Rhodes and 2 to Kos) they demand 400,000 euro per year!
Requesting to undertake further.
