The Red Cross at Christmas – Kos

From the Regional Department of the Greek Red Cross in Kos.

The Red Cross in Kos were able to send out Christmas food parcels which were distributed (courtesy of our fellow citizens) and 78 turkeys and chickens (at the expense of our department) to 198 families and lonely and people in need on this island.

The Chairman and Members of the Board feel obliged to express their heartfelt thanks to:-

Mr. Spyros Kardoulia for the courtesy of giving the storage space  in which the food was gathering food and the packaging of the parcels were completed.

We would like to thank all of our citizens who have provided food and financial assistance for this purpose.

· Enterprise Chatziamallos supermarket Carrefour, Hatzigiakoumis supermarket Constantinos

Supermarket AB, Fruit and Vegetable shop Balsamis and Negros  AE which offered  food, fruits and vegetables.

· The teachers of A grade primary and secondary education, which helped to collect food in schools on the island.

Also we would like to thank all the Red Cross Members and friends of the Red Cross, without their help it would not have been possible to collect and distribute the packages. -
