Urban Rivals Online Flash Game Review

Introduction
Urban Rivals is an online web browser game offering gameplay through flash using cards which consists of pillz and health points. The sub genre I would say is strategy as it is a trading card game as well. As more and more browser game are being released, many require long gameplay times such as Travian which is also getting increasingly popular, but Urban Rivals is simple to understand and enjoyable. This is probably the most unique browser game I have ever played, and I have played many. In this review I will be writing about the gameplay and graphics, and what they overall have to offer.

Gameplay
The gameplay as I said before is a card game where you can put pillz to make your characters stronger in power(The attack power) but the damage (Done to your health) depends on your card. You have a total of 12 pillz and 12 health though I do not understand why high level users have more health than me. There are many clans to choose which specialise in something, for example a clan called“Rescue” has a bonus for +3 attack for each“Rescue” card when you’re playing. I think the variety of clans are really diverse which makes the game have longer appeal, the main thing is that you do not need to pay a huge amount of money to buy cards, tournaments offer more Clintz which is the currency of the game than normal fights.

Graphics
The graphics is not much to talk about as it is 2D but very well made as I do not experience any FPS(Frames per second) problems. The character drawn are very imaginative and many new cards are really unique which makes the game still enjoyable. I guess as the popularity grows, so will the number of new cards released with unique ideas. So overall, I really like the whole idea as 2D because it keeps the simplicity of the game and the graphics is balanced which is a good touch. Many other nice aspects with the games is that there are comic concepts which really help with the story line if you don’t know much about some of the characters.
