Plans for Kos?

The Directorate of Planning, Organization and Informatics of our Municipality, in cooperation with the Directorate of Technical Services, the Department of City Planning, the Environment Directorate, the Directorate of Local Economic Development and the Department of Finance, completed the design for the Project and Program Executive Budget of 2013.   By  following a clear and unambiguous target with always  the needs of the people of our island first and taking into account international and national socio-economic development.

The proposals will be being put forward from  Sunday 21/10 of the Executive Committee of the Municipality of Kos and on Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Municipal Community Kardamena from all executives, elected or not, can attend with the the Municipal Authority.

Proposals will  be submitted to the municipal committee and it is then discussed and decided by all the Boards of The  Municipal Communities and proposals that have the  largest possible consensus will be taken further and submitted  to be carried out by the City Council of Kos.

As The Municipal Authority we are absolutely consistent in our commitments to our fellow citizens and we will move dynamically to  progress and implement the annual plan for 2013 as determined in the early primary season with the passing of the business development plan 2012-2014.

The daily developments justify our choices whether to develop the Social Enterprise Cooperative work and give hope to our young people or for carrying out major projects to reflate the economy and revitalize the tourist areas of the island .

The Municipality of Kos with the actions of our society shields against the tough competition, economic recession and unemployment and will promote within the next two years  infrastructure and development projects that exceed 80 million euros.
