Reported break-ins in Kefalos
Two break ins were reported both in the Kefalos area of Kos Island on the 18th June 2012. The first that was reported and is being investigated by police involves 25,000 euro worth of cash being stolen. Poison Fish Lagokefalos – Just off Kos Island on the Turkish Coast
A school of huge deadly (killer) fish, known as poisonous Lagokefalous have flooded the area opposite the island of Kos, at the Turkish coast, and beyond.

KEFALOS – ARE WE THERE YET???
A ‘day’ trip to the other side of the island (the south west!. Kefalos is about 35 mins in the car from Kos Town, up winding roads and past the airport…..and down a long road and….finally you get there. It’s of course not very far, but my children aren’t used to long ‘haul’, so it felt like miles! “Are we there yet?”
Girls Go Hopping!
So with the wind blowing in our hair (good idea to tie it back if you have long hair, and remember to slap some suncream on your forehead if you usually have a fringe…to avoid a bright red two tone face effect later!)…we were off! The breeze very welcome on such a hot day, and the waters calm.

Another busy and colourful day at the WTM 2011
The halls were buzzing once again from the minute the exhibition opened, including the Kos Island stand which saw many more business people from kos and the whole day was full of meetings and business deals.
StayInKos.Com – Kosexplorer….at the Kipriotis Workshop….
The idea behind this event and objectives was to promote the island of Kos and show what we, as an island can offer the prospective visitor. Representatives were invited to join in from all areas of the tourism industry in Kos, although, it was noted that it was a slightly disappointing turn-out.
